Look, I don't claim to be some highbrow, thesaurus totin', cacophony-word using intellectual music critic. And with all due respect to a couple of my pals that have been actual professional music critics, here are some of the artists (in no particular order) that I think are absolutely essential to understanding the Blowfish picture. This is what I'd take with me if stranded on a South Pacific Island, or...having to drive clear across Kansas. I've included some excerpts from actual highbrow music critics to explain why these albums are so important. The reviews all come from my favorite (and highly recommended) source for CD purchases, CD Now. I've included the name of each gifted, intelligent and attractive reviewer, so hopefully they won't sue me.
