Since 2000, the Blowfish family (consisting of Grandpa Blowfish, George Blowfish and Mrs. Blowfish) have had a spirited contest to test our knowledge of NFL game forecasting. Here's how it works: Each week, we pick who we think will win each game, and assign a point value to each chosen winner. If there are 16 games in a typical NFL schedule week, one would put 16 points on the winner of the biggest blowout or mismatch; one point on the closest or most even contest. Points are placed on each game, 16, 15, 14, etc.; down to one point on the closest contest. At the end of the week we add up the points, keep a running total during the season, and the winner is crowned Blowfish Family Exulted NFL Poohbah for the remaining calendar year.
