Some guys are hall of famers,
some guys are grunts. But all gave 100% all the time; never gave
up, played hurt, gave a damn and were a joy to watch:

Louie Aguiar - Punter:
Cancer survivor, made many touchdown saving open field tackles
on punt returns.
Marcus Allen - Halfback:
Greatest short yardage back ever. Superb pass blocker and team
leader. Hall of Famer.
Kimball Anders - Fullback:
3 time All -Pro, Great pass receiver and pass blocker. Career
cut short by achilles injury.

Fred Arbanas - Tight
End: Maybe the toughest Chief ever; lost an eye in a bar fight.
Chosen all time best AFL tight end.
Rich Baldinger - Tackle:
Helped Okoye win NFL rushing championship. Often neutralized opponent's
best lineman.
Bobby Bell -Linebacker:
First Chiefs player and first outside linebacker elected to Hall
of Fame. Also deep snapped.

Buck Buchanan - Defensive
Tackle: Hall of Famer, most dominant defensive lineman in the
history of the AFL.
Ed Budde - Guard:
All AFL, massive, smart and fast. One of the greatest guards ever.
Should be in Canton.
Deron Cherry - Safety:
Started as a free agent punter, All-Pro six times. A serious neck
injury ended his career.

Len Dawson - Quarterback:
Hall of Famer, MVP Super Bowl IV. Nicknamed "Lenny the Cool."
Steve DeBerg - Quarterback:
Toughest Chiefs QB ever, played with a steel rod in his broken
pinkie in 1989.
Joe Delaney - Halfback:
All-Pro 1982, most explosive Chiefs back ever. Tragically drowned
trying to save two kids.

Donnie Edwards - Linebacker:
Great energy, good blitzer. Smart, fast to the football.
Tim Grunhard - Center:
All-Pro. Tough, strong, emotional leader of offensive line for
10 years.
E.J. Holub - Center:
All-AFL, played linebacker in Super Bowl I and Center in Super
Bowl IV.

Willie Lanier - Linebacker:
Hall of Famer, nicknamed "Contact". Best middle linebacker
in history of the AFL.
Bill Maas - Noseguard:
2 time All-Pro, also played defensive end. Nasty, great run stopper
in the 3-4 defense.
Jerry Mays - Defensive
End: All-AFL. Undersized, but a relentless, fearless player. Great
pass rusher.

Mike Mazlowski - Linebacker:
Fearless, ferocious special teams player. Always around the football.
Christian Okoye -
Fullback: All-Pro. Led NFL in rushing in 1989. Bruising runner
with an easygoing personality.
Johnny Robinson -
Safety: All-AFL, played all of Super Bowl IV with broken ribs.
Should be in Canton.

Kevin Ross - Cornerback:
2 time All-Pro. Nicknamed "Rock." Short, but extremely
nasty. A deadly hitter and good cover corner.
Jack Rudnay - Center:
4 time All-Pro, great player on some very bad teams. Durable,
emotional and very tough.
John Tait - Tackle:
Worlds largest Mormon. In 2004 left KC for the Chicago Bears and
a $14 million signing bonus.
